Formula xHD: Aqua R&D redefines the sonic performance of the Formula DAC
The Formula xHD features the following upgrades and modifications as compared to the Formula DAC:
• New firmware release 3.0 for the main FPGA (DAC) with optimization of the code

La Scala MkIII - Optologic DAC upgrade
As it is known our Optologic technology has undergone several evolutions over time, on the successive versions of La Scala DAC.
Therefore, the upgrade depends on the version of the machine, in other words on how many electronic boards will have to be replaced.
As for the timing, we will manage the upgrades in the order of booking. Since the work requires a non-negligible amount of time, we will ask the Customer to book the upgrade.
The upgrade service should normally be obtained from the importing distributor or retailer from whom you purchased the La Scala DAC.
In the event of service required beyond the capability of the importing distributor or retailer, the Customer can contact Aqua directly at support@aquahifi.com, with the following information:
1. your name and contact information
2. serial number of the unit
3. the dealer where you purchased the unit
4. a copy of the purchase receipt / invoice
We will reply to your email with specific instructions.
A final note: we firmly contrast the grey market and black import, in order to protect our customers from illegitimate resellers. MkIII will not performed on gray-market devices, i.e. the units not purchased from the local distributor/reseller or those exported outside the territory of competence of the local distributor/reseller. This policy is the only mean to keep this goal effective.
